Word to the Wise

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward."
- Amelia Earhart

Welcome to the Sheridan Taekwon-Do Club

Welcome to Sheridan County YMCA and Sheridan Taekwon-Do Club. We've been at the YMCA since 1987. We provide all levels of training from white belt beginner to VII Degree Black Belt in the martial art of Taekwon-Do.Taekwon-Do can be practiced by children, women and men alike. When you continue in this program you will amaze yourself with your accomplishments. Taekwon-Do is a natural use of the body for self-defense. The mind, body and spirit come together through dedicated training, resulting in health and fitness, mentally and physically. Taekwon-Do is a way of thinking and learning that explores the relationship of the mind and body. The essence of our martial arts training is improvement of the human condition. It represents a vehicle for personal growth. Taekwon-Do is, or can be, a lifelong pursuit.
